Day 1 (9/4)
Flight was at 515am, we were at the airport at 1am...waited there till 5 to board the plane, Lauda Air (Austrian Air) to Aust. We were so unlucky that the flight was delayed for 3hrs and were stuck inside the plane for tat duration 0) ..ok finally the plane started to move around 9am malaysian time....the flight took about 7 hrs, so we reach sydney airport at 630pm (sydney time)...and it was already night there, like around 8pm..we were really tired by then...my cousin pick us up from the airport to the Swiss Grand Bondi Beach...the room was big and we were quite satisfied with it...
Day 2 (10/4)
Woke up early today...cos its my cousin Vivien wedding day..we were suppose to take a train from Bondi Jcn to Parramatta cos there were track work going on at Epping (the train st that we were suppose to go to). 6am is like 8am there...so bright....
We were early there, so we went around sight seeing at Parramatta..nice place...they call Burger King as Hungry Jacks...finally my cousin Vincent pick us up to Oatland Gardens, where the wedding reception was held..it was a nice place...food was served from 12 to 4pm...the longest lunch i've ever had!and the lunch was chinese food....hehe....they named the red bean paste for dessert a funny name -Aueki Lily Bulb & Lotus Seed....does it make sense that its red bean??
Day 3(11/4)
We made our way walking from the hotel at Bondi Beach to Bondi Jcn Interchange....it was really really far, but it was a nice walk...we get to see nice houses and nice parks!
from Bondi Jcn we took a train to Circular Quay...there were all sorts of street performer...all weirdos....my bf got invited to join for one of the street performance....haha....
after tat we went to Sydney Opera House, grab some pics there together with the Harbour Bridge....and then walk over to The Rocks....the information center here was good....from there we made our way to Darling Harbour...and tat was really far....my legs were aching badly when we got bk to the hotel....the pizzas were cheap and big, especially for a slice...currency exchange was 1 to 3 so it was expensive to hv a nice dinner at a restaurant....instead, we opt to ta pau food and eat at the park...on the way to Darling Harbour we past by QVB and it was really a magnificent shopping mall...so classy
Day 4(12/4)
We tried the coastal walk and it was really a nice sight...the weather was good too....sydney is really a nice place to live in....alot of parks around..we saw a woman tie a kite to her dog up at the hill....and it was really cute!after tat we took a bus to Bondi Jcn and walk around the shopping malls there....Mc D had a different menu over there...they got much healthier food....we made our way walking to Fox studios via centennial park....it was really a HUGE park and we almost got lost in there! but there were many wildlife u can see roaming freely...nice place for relaxation..
Day 5(13/4)
The 2 newly weds, my cousin pick us up from the hotel and brought us to Manly Beach...another beautiful beach in Sydney....there were lots of seagulls waiting to attack ur food!we went rollerblading, cycling there....i went for the kick bike, it was fun but tiring.....its actually an oversize scooter....anyway, it was a fun and tiring day....we had seafood for lunch and it was delicious...
Day 6(14/4)
Today we took a tour to the Blue Mountains with Oztrek tours....the coach pick us up from Strathfield...Our first stop was the Sydney Olympic Park....then to see kangaroos at Blue Mountains Park (Glenwood entrance)...the kangaroos were not scared of humans...probably got used to it alr...but i don't dare stand near them!U heard of stories on their powerful kick!
After tat, we we brought to Wentworth Falls....it was a beautiful sight and u could also see the blue haze at the mountains due to the gases emitted by the eucalyptus tree around the area....we almost got lost in the forest too!!trekking around the mountains is really dangerous here.....
The next stop was Echo Point and 3 sisters.....we took a 1 1/2 hr walk from there to the scenic world and took a scenic skyway back up.....came back again with sore legs!! On the way back we were brought to the Olympic Park again..a different sight at night!
Day 7(15/4)
My aunty and uncle brought me n my bf to the central coast....a nice retreat by the beach.....it was a bit like Manly, although less people...we went to Avoca Beach, where it was famous for the rock formation....really beautiful...and then to Terrigal....there was a hill nearby the coast and a nice view from the top....and the last stop was to The Entrance....where they had the feeding for Pelicans, but it was at 3pm, so we didn't get to see that as we were early....we were brought to the shopping mall instead
Day 8(16/4)
This is the last day we're in Sydney...we were brought to Parklea Markets to get some souvenirs back home.....the houses here are nice but expensive, cars are cheap and the weather was wonderful....it made us missed more when were back in M'sia...dogs could be brought around to nice parks.....and the lifestyle here is much more relaxing than in Msia....anyway, we still had to say good bye to this place and back to work on Monday 0)
